I’m an open source data infrastructure geek, working for Cloudera on Impala and Hive.  Before joining Cloudera, I spent nearly ten years working for MySQL, joining the support organization while MySQL AB was still an independent company in 2006.  I managed the global MySQL Support organization at Oracle until moving to the MySQL Engineering team in 2013 as Director of Technical Product Management, where I was the security lead for all MySQL products and focused on usability, supportability, and cross-product integration.
